🇬🇧 she’s coming home🇬🇧 @public.gallery are pleased to present Only Love Will Break Your Heart, the first UK solo exhibition by New York born, Los Angeles based artist Shaniqwa Jarvis, opening Thursday April 30 from 6 - 8 pm. Through floral motifs, layered compositions, and reflective surfaces, the exhibition attends to traces of grief, memory, loss, and resilience while foregrounding questions of spectatorship. Central to the exhibition is a sustained interrogation of the material condition of the photographic image. Across fifteen new works, Jarvis considers photography as object-based and subject to physical encounter, resisting the medium’s association with flatness and fixity. - Shaniqwa Jarvis i feel your warmth and it feels like home, 2026 Archival digital print on silk with acrylic paint, mirror, walnut frame 104.1 × 78.7 × 7 cm

Tessa Thompson’s always had range. But she’s about to take even bigger swings—onscreen, onstage, and in the boardroom. The Los Angeles-born actor and Entertainers issue cover star made her name in the mid-2010s in films like ‘Dear White People,’ ‘Creed,’ and ‘Selma’ before cementing herself as an MCU staple, becoming a blueprint for an actor who could go big without selling out or foregoing the quieter indie flick. Then, without any projects to promote, Thompson slipped out of the spotlight for two years, taking advantage of this lower-key period to build up @vivamaude , the production company she founded in 2020. This winter has seen her re-enter the chat with a suite of conversation-starting projects. Thompson made her rounds on the award circuit for ‘Hedda,’ Nia DaCosta’s reinvention of Henrik Ibsen’s 19th-century play about an aristocratic woman defying every norm imposed on her. (Her role as the titular Hedda Gabler won her a Critic’s Choice award and a Golden Globe nom.) ‘His & Hers,’ the mystery thriller limited series she leads with Jon Bernthal, hit 19.9 million views on Netflix within days of dropping in January. Next, she’ll be making her Broadway debut opposite Adrien Brody in ‘The Fear of 13.’ The production, which begins previews this March, tells the story of a man who spent more than two decades on death row before being exonerated with new DNA evidence. “I feel this sense of impending excitement,” @tessamaethompson tells her friend, the director @janicza . “It’s been a circuitous route to get there. And here I am.” Link in bio to read their cover conversation, and order your copy of the Entertainers issue today. 1/ Tessa wears earrings and necklaces by @cartier and a bralette by @versace with Smog, the bearded dragon. 4/ A skirt by Bottega Veneta with hoop earrings by @cartier . Don’t Forget Us, utilizing a family heirloom passed down through my maternal line, and I Dreamt of Easier Times both move through memory, reflection, and connection. Those breaths you take that weave between what was and what can be. Both are on view in Driftwork, curated by @essenceh @southernguildgallery A group exhibition I’m honored to be included in amongst the best of the best.

She’s home 🇬🇧🌸❤️!!! Grateful to be showing three new works alongside so many new/old faves @public.gallery These pieces continue my exploration of how time runs in a loop and is all a blur, which bends and fold and overlaps and echos across time. i’m okay, now. something sweet, something tart. and never ending story. touch on mirror work, double exposures, and the fragility of moments we try to hold onto. Go seeeeeeee
