January 13th will always been a special day in our home, because at 2pm yesterday, Ava Grace officially became a Sheehan 😭🙌🏼🤍. Thank you God that you write the most beautiful stories. That out of brokenness and pain, you bring beauty. We are rejoicing that this precious girl has entered our lives, and that we will always be connected. A new name, a new covenant- just like our God 😭 we won’t ever get over that. I love this song- I think I have blasted it on repeat in seasons where it really didn’t feel like He was “up to something”- but God gave us the strength to stand in faith on the promise He put in our hearts… and here we are. Grace upon Grace. Thank you @sherriannhicks for listening to the lord and helping Him lead us to our girl 🤍

Little sis 🥹💕 for years since we lost Ella, Oliver has prayed every single night (and I mean every night) that God would bring another baby sis to our family. (See second photo, even at school he would write things about how much his little heart wanted it). What a sweet sweet moment to be able to watch him hold her for the first time and remind him how faithful God is and how He answers our prayers in ways better than we knew how to ask. They have not stopped kissing all over her and it’s safe to say all four of us are in love with her!

Say hello to Ava Grace 💕 In a whirlwind way, she came into our lives 6 weeks ago. We cannot stop thanking Jesus for the way He has intertwined our stories together. Miracle after miracle. Some days we still can’t believe we get to call her ours. Ava • means life; to breathe or live; desired — No truer words could be spoken over her life. Little one, you have been desired for so long, and God always knew it was you. We have prayed that her life would be lived full of purpose and confidence-that she would always know how Gods hand and favor have been on her since day one. And thank you God that her birth mother chose life. 😭 Grace • means favor, blessing, goodness. — words you would want to be said of you, but more than that, Grace primarily speaks to Gods unmerited favor and abundant love + forgiveness that is freely given to us. That because of that grace, we have ALL been adopted and brought into God’s family. We pray her own adoption story, no matter how it plays out in her life, reminds her how deeply loved she is and ultimately points back to Him. More steps ahead in the days to come, so pray with us for continued miracles - We’ve seen them in every detail so far, and we believe He will do so again 💕

When someone is having a rough morning and just wants to hold mama’s hand during church…. @thejensheehan is the greatest mom and I love watching her care for, laugh with, bandage, and love our boys. Happy Mother’s Day babe!

It never gets old…. Incredible week with @gather25 and an AMAZING team…. too many stats and incredible people to count but to name some of them…. @jlommori @jcanzanella @stevenrsamuels @rustyanderson_ @guicem @ryanmccormick @mitchellmcghee @bweston @_justintyre Lots of work and long hours, but an incredible result! Thanks @jennieallen and @futurecitynow_ for letting us serve the Church alongside you and the powerhouse @ifgathering + @gather25 team. What an incredible honor, privilege, and humbling experience to get to be a part of. Also very proud of our @renewedvision team which sent @propresenter operators all around the globe and supported the events with software innovations for 16 languages of graphics translation, 48 keyers, monitor wall assembly, and more. And I could not leave out @thejensheehan who held down the fort at home/spent Wednesday-Friday last week in the hospital with Oliver, but supported and made space for all the time that went in over the past several several months. No better partner than her! 🖤

We are so excited to share that we have started the journey of adoption! 🤍 God has given us the honor of being Mom and Dad to our two beautiful boys and our three other babies in heaven… and we know that He has called us to continue to grow our family through the bravery of a birth mother who has chosen life for her child. We wanted to let you know so you could 1) pray with us and 2) be a part of this with us as you feel led. So many have already said they wanted to join us on this journey, so we wanted to humble ourselves and be obedient to create a space to do just that. Check out the link in my profile for more of our heart and prayers. We have no idea what this timeline or process will look like for our family, but we are confident of this: that “He who began a good work in [us] will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 1:6 Whatever the outcome, He is working in us and through us. Thanks for always walking with our family through the hardship/unknown/joys/griefs… In it all, to Him be the Glory.
