For nearly a YEAR, our backyard has been left destroyed by Sunrun after additional solar work they said was necessary because the original system wasn’t functioning correctly.
In July/August 2025, trenches were dug through our concrete and backyard for additional panel installation and electrical lines. We were told the work was completed… inspections were passed… and restoration would follow.
It is now MAY 2026.
The trench area is still exposed. Weeds and wheat are literally growing through the dirt piles they left behind. The soil they excavated has compacted across the backyard, and we have effectively lost use of our yard for MONTHS.
Meanwhile:
• The solar system still has not properly offset the bill
• We continue paying high electric bills
• We continue paying for solar service
• No reimbursement or retroactive credit has been issued for the periods the system was not functioning correctly
• No meaningful follow-up or resolution has occurred
At this point, this has gone beyond inconvenience. This is unacceptable property neglect and failure of service.
We are now documenting everything publicly and pursuing escalation through consumer protection agencies, contractor licensing complaints, utility complaints, and legal channels if necessary.

Story time: So the book festival was great! But I was kinda disappointed I missed and would miss a few author's , narrators and creator's who had either presented early or weren't presenting yesterday! One was @mychal3ts ! I was headed out of the venue when London was adamant about wanting an item all the way at the beginning of the festival...I conceded ( irritated ) but as we headed in that direction I saw amazing hair and bright colors standing in the middle of the festival and I was so GEEKED! Thee library man himself was right there!! My day was indeed made😁😁😁😁!! Thank you Mychal for just being you!!! For making time for this big library kid!!!
