Our first graders had an AMAZING adventure visiting the Ward 3 Police Station! šāØ The officers and cadets who usually come to our school to read with us welcomed us into their world this timeāand it was so exciting to see where they work!

The excitement was contagious! We canāt wait to go back next week and see how much our very own plants have grown. THINK IT, MAKE IT!

Shoutout to everyone who came out and participated in Family Fitness Night! We had such a great time!! A huge thank you to Coach Rutledge for leading the warm-up, Ms. Jordan Daugherty for the dance workout, and Coach Toxey for the delicious smoothies.
We also appreciate Ms. Rutledge and Ms. Freeman for encouraging and getting the kids in the space and participating along with Mr. Coore and Don Colo for their support. I am so proud of our brave 6th grade girlsāAllison, Charlie, Halo, and Lovaeāfor leading a presentation on healthy bodies. Even the Northstar Tutors joined in!
We truly couldnāt do any of this without all of you. The kids had an amazing time!

Today we got to do some MAD SCIENCE! We had so much fun learning about color mixing, dry ice, exploding cotton balls, and even fire! It was awesome to see that science can be exciting, hands-on, and fun. Everyone enjoyed experimenting and discovering new things ā we definitely learned a lot, too.
