Babyyy… diffusing your curls properly will literally make or break your results 😭
Most people go straight in with the diffuser and start scrunching soaking wet hair… then wonder why their curls turn into a frizzy mess before they’re even dry 🫠
In this video, I actually made my client diffuse her OWN hair during her 1:1 styling appointment 👀✨
That means she:
• applied the products herself
• learned proper diffuser technique
• dried and styled her own curls
• and left knowing how to recreate these results at home 👏🏽
A huge part of my styling appointments is education because I don’t just want your curls looking good in my chair… I want you confident doing them yourself too 💕
A few KEY diffuser tips:
✨ Hover first before cupping to avoid wet frizz
✨ Point airflow downward with the cuticle
✨ Don’t flip your hair around too much while wet
✨ Hold the diffuser still for 5–10 seconds instead of constantly moving it
✨ Start scrunching only once the hair is around 30–50% dry
✨ Fully dry before fluffing + separating curls
This right here is the difference between “my curls only last one day” and curls that actually hold 👀
