What an impactful weekend in Paris 🇫🇷
The Vitiligo International Patient Organizations Committee (@vipoc.vitiligo ) — a global network uniting patient organizations across continents — convened for our annual board meeting. Our mission is to amplify patient voices, strengthen advocacy, and ensure that people living with vitiligo are seen, supported, and represented in research, healthcare, and society. I am honored to serve as Vice Secretary of the Executive Board.
Over 3 days, we aligned on a bold vision and strategy for the years ahead, shared insights from patient organizations worldwide, defined global advocacy priorities to guide our collective efforts and strengthened connections with researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to accelerate impact.
The future of vitiligo advocacy is global, united, and determined!
Spotted: the changemakers. 🖤

Working hard to shape the future for the vitiligo community. 🙌
VIPOC (Vitiligo International Patient Organisation Committee) is a global organisation bridging the gap between governments, the medical community, policymakers, and advocacy agencies worldwide. Our mission is to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and improve the lives of those living with vitiligo.
Vitiligo is a chronic skin condition caused by the loss of pigment-producing cells, leading to white patches on the skin. While painless, its psychosocial impact can be deeply challenging — and that’s why our work matters.
