We’re back in-person! 12th grade cohort had an amazing experience touring the CCM Department. The Center for Comparative Medicine (CCM) at MGH oversees centralized animal housing for research. Some of the animals the scholars got to see were: goats, sheeps, pigs, mice, rats, frogs, and rabbits. Many thanks to Cliff and his team! CD

Thanks to our friends at The Center for Comparative Medicine, 10th and 11th graders learned how to make a Modified Robert Jones Bandage this week! Scholars practiced their bandaging skills on stuffed animals, plastic water bottles, and other makeshift limbs.

♥️This past year, over 100 MGH Youth Scholars in grades 9-12 learned the life-saving technique of hands only CPR. Thanks to our friends @makeblsbasic we learned and practiced this technique virtually with medical mannequins. 👏
♥️We make our families, friends, and communities safer when more people know CPR. Scholars, in honor of this important week, teach this skill to someone new!!
