I tried to post this recap reel… but every time I watched it, I choked up. The emotions were unexpected, overwhelming, and real.
This return to the Star Awards stage wasn’t just about glamour. It was a reunion with the people who shaped me, friends, mentors who touched my life in ways both big and small.
And among them… was Mr Mun Shu Sum. The very man who offered 19-year-old me a contract with Mediacorp. He was there that night, and just like that, I was reminded of how it all began.
And Chen Shucheng 大哥, my very first co-host/mentor, the one who patiently guided me through terrifying live shows when I barely knew which camera to look at.
Some #reunions are loud. Others are quiet, but hit you right in the heart.
This night was a mosaic of those moments, hugs that meant more than words, glances that held memories, and tears I didn’t expect to fall backstage in full lashes and couture.
Thank you to everyone who was part of my journey. Thank you, TV-land, for welcoming me home, if only for a night.
To all my friends still walking the path of TV-land, I see your grit. I honour your artistry.
I wish you flight.

Rebecca and Glenn, merci beaucoup for helping me remember this night the way it deserved to be remembered.
8 years in #Paris , and somehow Place des Vosges still feels like my secret garden. Thank you for capturing these moments… in case the croissants make me forget.

From kindergarten to University. An average kid received extraordinary education opportunities. I became who I am today because of the schools, teachers, friends who nurtured me, gave me the confidence, and taught me values, core and ethics. The importance of reading and #equalopportunity .
Thank you @mediacorp for the scholarship to pursue overseas education in 4 different cities, which otherwise I would never be able to afford on my own.

I recommend my way of self-therapy, save yourself the $250 session. Eat whatever you are craving for lunch (I’m currently deep in a Korean bibimbap phase), walk until your legs give way (10K steps for me), pick up flowers along the way (and sing out loud I can buy myself flowers…), then settle into your favourite café and stay there long enough to say bonjour to all the neighbourhood pets who come by. Most importantly, leave your phone unanswered. Let go and I guarantee you will feel a lot lighter, with your sanity and peace restored.
Enjoy your weekend.
Not everything deserves to be seen. These days, I’m more selective about what I let into my view. Not just in life, but quite literally.
I don’t say yes to everything, or to take in everything all at once. Now, it’s about focus. Clarity, I’m finally realising, is not just about seeing more, but seeing what matters.
I’ve been wearing #ZEISS progressive lenses, and they fit perfectly into this rhythm of mine, moving from the small details in front of me to the world beyond, effortlessly.
Paired with an understated frame I chose from @jamcooptical , it feels like my state of mind now: at ease, and intentional.
Their space at the Fullerton Hotel, one of my favourite hotels to stay whenever I’m back in Singapore, has also become a kind of pause in the day. A place that reminds me to slow down, to look up, and to really see.
If you’ve been thinking about taking better care of your eyes, I’ve been given a small code to share: SHARON13
(They’re also offering complimentary PhotoFusion X & colour tints with ZEISS SmartLife lenses till 30 June 2026.)

When you work with the best in the industry, there is no fear. I didn’t have to be self-conscious about my flaws, my cellulite, or what I lack. There was this certainty that only the best of me would be captured. And that was exactly what happened.
Of course, what you don’t see, is a whole different story.
Some poses were powered entirely by whatever core strength I could summon (and a very determined neck). Some of the most beautiful shots? Jeremy quite literally throwing drapes over my face and hoping for magic.
And in the end, it turned out divine.
Thank you, ICON, for making me feel like one, even if just for a moment.
Now, someone, anyone, everyone, please send me a copy of the magazine.

Back in Paris, but my mind is still in a very special place at the heart of @gardensbythebay .
If you’re in Singapore, you have to visit @be.imba which officially opened just five days ago. Congratulations @mikerrlee and team @hustlebustlegroup !
I first experienced David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) at @_lightroomldn in London, and seeing it in Singapore moved me all over again.
What stayed with me most were the words “Love Life”. Simple, almost childlike in their clarity, yet carrying the weight of a lifetime fully lived.
We each leave with something different from the same encounter, so you have to experience this immersive space for yourself. But this much I can share, my biggest takeaway is: to follow one’s passion without attachment to outcome may be one of the purest forms of freedom. To love the process more than the prize.
And to remember: “You cannot look at the sun or death for very long.”
Go chase it anyway.

Shuttling between two cities looks like a beautiful life from the outside, and it is. But there is always an ache when it’s time to say “see you later”.
The heaviness that comes with packing, as I mindlessly stack my Bak Kwas, instant laksa, kueh lapis, Mum’s cookies etc into my suitcase, trying to carry a little bit of home with me.
There is no wrong place to exist as yourself. And yet there is a loneliness in deciding what stays, and what goes. I don’t know if I am making sense. Just hope someone somewhere understands this melancholy.
Thank you Mum for letting me fly free.
See you later.
