This week was my first time presenting my work in Spain thanks to the amazing teams of @laba.bcn @labaparis I can't thank you enough for your generous invitation, the gathering of beautiful souls, conversations and new friendships. I displayed few pieces I could carry safely in my luggage, ended up being fully checked up by french customs but it was worth it to say the least. As I was searching in vain for my nose in his hands, I found myself realising that it was myself that I saw nestled tenderly in my father's palms. Many months ago, As I was going through a challenging period of my life, my beloved friend, @sarah.makharine photographed me in my home. As our friendship grows and unfolds, I shared with Sarah the special story of my wedding caftan, my big dreams and hopes. After 7th of October, I was scared I might lose my grandfather, the last living memory of our Moroccan history in my family. He agreed to offer me my wedding traditional dress, before Alzheimer would make it too difficult for him to remember such shallow details. It took us less than 10 minutes to find it, in a freezing parisian store where I was the only bride who was also celibate. I know, it's bizarre, but the emergency feeling in my chest made all of this quite rational. I am very proud to share her work and her sensible eye. Much love Sharon

Neshama 2025 Installation combining painting and embroidery on canvas, ceramics vases made possible with the help of @fightalicefight Neshama means "soul" in hebrew but can also be used to call someone you love, as if a part of your soul was already in theirs. Flowers arrangements by @lily75009 I can't thank you enough for your support, your trust. @lily75009 understood my background, the references I was pouring into the project. The type of flowers, scents I was looking for and patiently crafted bouquets in-situ. This project could not be possible without the help and support of my summer interns @olg4aaa and @lilly.nssr and my friend @195cc who has the patience of a saint and always down to help me and push me forward. As I reflect on the last months, I am filled with gratitude and joy. Along the way, I met amazing people, artists, spent time with friends and family. First and foremost i want to thank @labaparis for the program I benefited, somewhere between a residency and some intensive lectures that nurtured my art practise.📚 Many thanks to my amazing friend @195cc for his support even in critical moments (especially during those times) 🥨 A huge thank you to @lily75009 for her understanding of my wishes, the background behind every image I have on my mind. You brought to life a sensible vision enhanced through scent 🌼 @rocky_grononos I am so happy we cross roads, it gives me hope and confidence that friendships grow in the least expected place. To many more drawings together 🎨 @fightalicefight thank you so much for your help, your time and your patience. My vases couldn't be that pretty without you 🏺 @olg4aaa & @lilly.nssr many thanks for your dedication and your work during the summer internship. I hope we can bring together a healthier art world where everyone is respected, praised for and learn from each other 🤝 And last but not least, thanks to all the friends I met over the past years, all equally creative, smart, fun, supportive. L'été commence bien, entre l'atelier, les rencontres, l'étude de textes. Des rencontres merveilleuses aussi, des personnes qui semblent étrangement familières tant les sensibilités sont proches, les intérêts communs.

Il y a quelques semaines de cela, j'ai appris que j'étais lauréate de l'Aide individuelle à la Création, décernée par la région @iledefrance . J'ai fait le choix de défendre un projet intime, ambitieux, nécessaire d'une certaine façon. Pour me raconter autrement, et me permettre de naviguer différemment dans ma pratique plastique. Cette bourse de production va me permettre de changer d'échelle, de travailler avec des personnes talentueuses, efficaces (!!!!) sans qui ce projet ne verrait pas le jour de sitôt. Un grand merci à tous ces humains qui ont ponctué ma route et parcouru le chemin. Un merci tout à fait spécial à @mrcdante_sarah pour son soutien, ses relectures, sa confiance. Merci @195cc pour son soutien de tous les instants, à l'atelier et partout ailleurs. Immense merci à la rapporteuse @eloraweillengerer pour son engagement, la défense de mon travail, son écoute et son regard. J'ai hâte que tout ce bazar, joyeux et sensible prenne forme, place prochainement.

J'ai retrouvé les dictionnaires de mon père et de son frère, datant des années 1980, dans les livres que je pensais perdus à jamais dans la cave de mes parents. Ces petits trésors familiaux, intimes, me rappellent la nécessité de maintenir le dialogue ouvert, entre soi et les autres, s'y ouvrir, refuser le silence, l'apathie, l'abstraction de l'autre. Depuis un an, j'observe avec une tristesse infinie, ces ruptures, toutes autant intimes, amicales et professionnelles, cette impossibilité de se dire complètement, de se sentir entendue et d'écouter l'autre en retour dans le respect et la considération mutuelle.
