Some of my stubbornness behind learning Dragon Staff has been the philosophy "anything you can do with a dragon staff, you can do with a Contact Staff, it's just more difficult and doesn't look as cool." Physics allow for me to do forward chi rolls and continuous, vertical Dragon moves with Contact. It's just so much faster there isn't enough space for the visual appeal to hit quite the same. Doesn't work the other way around unfortunately, so many of my contact pathways simply don't translate to the continuous direction of Dragons.
