a day of honoring some immense grief and taking it out in our art… which somehow lent to playing in a little Pamela Anderson esque energy xo to her forever and all the love in the world to my honey @shadowofthemountain for all the art we get to make together and for all of the nourishing conversations, expressions and intentionally created spaces to hold grief and love and death and beyond
please join us tomorrow night as we share tea, welcome in the full moon, and share in the collective love and grief amongst us.
paired with fresh flowers from our local favorite @junegrass__
We will cozy up in the lovely green wine room at Banshee.
Please come with a notebook ((for those that have already joined GL, absolutely bring the notebook we gifted before)) and come with the knowing of being held in whatever wants to come thru, while also taking a mini deep dive into the world of thanatology and the fundamental grief styles.
We can’t wait to have you. This one rings personally potent as it’s the days following my dad’s death anniversary, and there’s been a whirlwind of other loss // change + mourning present in my world. Have heard from so many of you, you have your own grief presence. Loss of a loved one, loss of a pet, loss of a job, loss of who you once were. We hold it all. See you tomorrow xx

Tiny news: This month marks 13 years in the death profession for me 🖤 From art school, to the mortuary, to the coroners office, to organ transplant…….. now to a masters of Thanatology program. I have used art and movement to navigate deaths in my life and at work. I am hoping to merge creative practice with Thanatology in the strangest MK way possible and grow a grief community along the way. 🙏🏻🖤☠️ Love to the real ones.
Bay Area Papa has been staying with her girl (it me) for the past month and we have been up to so much good. Happy birthday babe, I literally love you to death. 🖤♾️ Thank you to the amazing @brakethrough_jf for the 📸 🙏🏻❤️
Had the pleasure of capturing some sincerely genuine moments with the talented @chrispannella right before he left for his Euro tour. Do yourself a favor and give him a follow and a listen 🙌🔥
3 years ago I lost my little sister. Vickie turns 69 today and is celebrating almost 3 years with my little sister’s heart. Getting to know this amazing woman and her family has been one of the most profoundly beautiful experiences of my life. To know my sister’s heart is beating strongly in another human has turned the tragedy of her death into to something hopeful. It’s true about grief, the wound is the route to the gift. #donatelife
