The completion of Jiaxing Nanhu Clubhouse (East Wing) lands our first project in PRC. The East and West wings along the axis are connected underground with sunken courtyards and floating bridges.
<Sculptural Canopy> At the entrance of the Jiaxing Nanhu Clubhouse, visitors are greeted by a canopy appears to be floating gracefully above the bridge. The canopy is an honest structural expression of stainless steel without a cladding system which cantilevers 5 meters away from the structural support.

A 30-meter span canopy with 3-dimensional Glass-Fibre Reinforced Concrete panels and suspended Steel Feature underneath emphasize the significance of the space in a light and airy manner.

A tapered skylight cut though a 2 meter thick transfer plate to bring in natural light along all public circulation at the podium. It's a light-filled living environment that we envisioned it to be at the very beginning.

[Stone Tower for Scenic Elevator]
A 3-dimensional stone tower that extends 12meter into the ground to reach the mtr concourse. Tapered and curved stone features with vertical grills give it an unique form while serving as the air intake and extraction.
