responding to the wrong biennale's 2o25/26 theme, artificial intelligence, “anything but this” brings together 13 fully human-made works created under the influence of ai. works in this pavilion present presence through absence, with gestures that manually reference the algorithmic aesthetics, or engage conceptually with the implications of ai on themes including labor, training, companionship, language, authorship, and many others.
the pavilion is curated by emily d’achiardi @sft4u and jiaqi liu @jiaqiliu__ , featuring works by dirk sorge @dirk_sorge , josh sender @joshsender , kenji kojima @kenjikojimany , kimberly lyle @kimber.lyle , liang he @lianghe_studio , louis wuttke @louis_wuttke , matthias moos @moos.matthias , minrui qiao @miri.q_03 , nicolas crocetti @crocetti.nicolas , peter william holden @p.w.holden , qinyu echo huan @echo_huan , scott groeniger @elasticlimit , and yao zhang @yao_z313 .
