🌍🌳We hope you enjoyed Climate Week! 🌍🌳 Mayor @danielluriesf celebrated by renewing the City’s commitment to sustainability, announcing the first update in five years to the Climate Action Plan, or CAP. CAP provides a roadmap to achieve net-zero emissions citywide by 2040 through improved interagency coordination across City departments and implementation of key actions across seven core sectors. #TrafficUpdate Caltrans continues work on the 19th Avenue repaving project, part of the #Fab4SF improvements happening across San Francisco. Crews are restoring pavement, repairing damaged roadway sections, and improving overall safety along this vital corridor. During this weekend closure, But that’s only part of the effort. crews are paving , addressing potholes, and making improvements to support safer travel for everyone—drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. What this means for you: ✔️ Smoother ride on 19th Avenue ✔️ Longer‑lasting pavement ✔️ Safer, more reliable travel corridor ✔️ Reduced need for future maintenance closures. Two lanes are fully closed, with one lane open for transit, emergency responders, and local access. Motorists should expect delays throughout the closure. We strongly encourage planning ahead, using detours, and considering public transit. Thank you to the San Francisco community for your patience as we complete this important work to improve safety and mobility along 19th Avenue. 📆 On track to reopen: Monday, April 27 at 5 AM 🌐 More info: sfhighwayprojects.com ☎️ Questions?
