I’m what I like to call a Brand Builder - but the public call me BIGSO 😁 Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working in media and creative space locally and internationally, which have been instrumental in shaping my journey till date. Since 2014, my passion for business development has only grown stronger. From running a creative agency, training school and a modeling agency to managing a magazine company, I’ve experienced my fair share of failures—about 80% of these startups didn’t succeed. But each failure was a stepping stone, teaching me invaluable lessons and helping me evolve. My entrepreneurial journey with YellowLyfe HQ ( Event Production and Team Bonding company ) began in 2019, though we officially launched in 2022 few days after I resigned from my job. From day one, I bootstrapped the business, and I’m proud to say that over the last three years, we’ve seen tremendous growth: 50% growth in year one, 100% in year two, and 150% in year three. In 2023, we also launched choplYfe Media, which has experienced 100% growth heading into 2024. Throughout these years, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with leading brands like KPMG, Uber, Bolt, Teleperformance, GAC Motors, Hennessy, Martell, and PiggyTech, TFAA to name just a few. One of my greatest passions is curating a healthy work-life balance platform for professionals, which led to the birth of @unwindfesthq —a gathering of professionals to connect, learn and network. This is also the driving force behind what we do at @yellowlyfehq ( event production company ) and @choplyfe.ng ( marketing and promotions ): empowering people through memorable experience. This year @unwindfesthq , we’re expanding our reach to Canada and Accra, with a vision remaining the same to empower 1 million techies by 2030 through UnwindFest and its products (SmeUnwind, TechUnwind and CreatorsUnwind ) I’m excited for what the future holds, and I can’t wait for you to witness the magic that my team and I are creating.
