Time for another beaver-cam update! 🦫 Since you all loved the Valentine’s Day footage of these two lovebirds, here are some new snapshots of Brussels’ official beaver duo. For those who recently joined us: this pair was first spotted in September 2025, and we’ve been keeping an eye on them ever since. After being absent for more than a century, beavers made their return to the north of Brussels a few years ago. One major reason? Parts of the river Senne have been reopened throughout the region. Restoring waterways doesn’t just benefit the river itself, it also brings wildlife back. 🌊 And beavers are incredible allies for biodiversity. Their activity slows water flow, improves infiltration, revitalises the soil, and creates entirely new habitats for other species.
