Rooted In Rest: A Mens Mental Health Project
First, All Glory to God.
This Project, built with intention to embody a safe haven for men, was put together to be shot at my home which brung everything together. Home, hoops, brotherhood, Christ, and so much more. Everyone came out from their 9-5, photoshoot, church, and more to meet and be free of mind. Nothing but good energy and fun with the guys, a time away from any external pressure that ways on our minds daily.
Thank You to everyone apart of this Project, being my first true project, I am more than grateful for everyone that came out and assisted and that was apart of this.
The Verse for this project was Proverbs 27:17 “As Iron sharpens Iron, so one person sharpens another”

I watched @jooselord perform few days ago & after his set, he gave a poignant speech on how he’s been having the best & worst times of his life, which is something I resonated with in ways I can’t express in words. I haven’t been able to articulate a lot lately, & I’m still figuring it out, but this will have to do for now.
I’m drowning in a deep well of gratitude. I live a life I could’ve only dreamed of when I was a kid, & there’s a guilt that comes with what it has costed me. Despite that, I wouldn’t trade this for anything.
I have so much to be thankful for.

I never took the time to ,,, better late than never but I just wanna thank all the beautiful people who made this event happen.
First and foremost I wanna thank both my stylist for the show @minaacarti and @oklamaj . They did so amazing!!This was the first show that I included stylists for my looks and I am so glad i did. Mina and Lamaj were the perfect pair. I honestly didn’t even know what to expect, (I just know I didn’t want to have to deal with any models on show day 😭😭😭😭 ) I just handed them something and they ran with it and they foresurely executed. So AMAZING Thank you guys for coming along I appreciate every help and support that you guys gave me. They made this show SOOOOO much smoother for me literally. and the looks they created EVEN BETTER!!! So thank yall deeply, Love ya

Every show I meet so many new and talented people so I want to shoutout my team @theofficialartbando for always putting on a banging performance and show. This show really broadened so many feelings for me. Seeing everything come together, even with all the coas, it makes me so proud, this show was put on in less than I think 2 months fr, and it was truly amazing all the performances all the models and all the brands (shoutout to as well)
