In 2019, we were just two kiwi best friends who found ourselves stuffing toilet paper in our ears at the club (hot? no. resourceful? absolutely), which set us on a path to creating earplugs we'd actually be excited to wear. To now have an artist like Fred choose to work with us, a small women-led team, over huge global competitors… it’s genuinely surreal. We’re so honoured, and so grateful to Fred and his incredible team for championing hearing safety in the music scene. This collab is all about shaping a music culture where we look after ourselves and each other. Where merch can also be accessible, sustainable, and functional. When we set off on this mission, earplugs were overlooked and definitely not considered a sought-after accessory. Creating these Fred again.. Sets felt like a huge moment where we stood back and went woah, we did that.. earplugs are finally becoming part of the culture. We’ll always be here for the club kids, the dancers, the overstimulated girlies, the day-ones, the night owls, and everyone who wants to still hear the world clearly at 80.
