Looking ahead to the North American premiere of THE PELICOT TRIAL, Milo Rau and Servane Dècle, together with director Richard Schechner and writer Tanya Selvaratnam, will offer insights into their “Theatre of the Real” Oratorio on Wednesday (25 March). The piece sheds light on the significant court case in France and illustrates how real events evolve into an extraordinary theatrical production. Prevod teksta četvoročasovne predstave su zajednički uradili Vera Konjović, Jelena Babšek Labudović i Vuk Tošić. ——— Kroz sirov pozorišni dokumentarizam čitanja spisa sa nedavno okončanog sudskog procesa koji je potresao javnost, predstava svedoči o sistemu koji omogućava da nasilje prođe nezapaženo. Žizel Peliko, sedamdesetdvogodišnja Francuskinja koju je u nesvesnom stanju suprug zajedno sa pedesetoricom muškaraca pronađenih na internetu silovao u rasponu od nekoliko godina, odlučila je da otvori suđenje za javnost i učini „da sramota promeni stranu”.
