The gym is closed for the week, but I'm determined to keep showing up 3 times a week. This means, using the resources available to me, but yoh, I can't wait to get my hands on some actual weights.
Also, I think it's time to try running. I've done it as my warm up the last 2 days and it's actually quite nice. I get the hype!
I've woken up thinking about the queens from the 'MOVE YOUR BODY' meet up today. This was so so wonderful. I'm so glad we go to share on this day. Let's chat and dance again!

LONDON; A dump
This trip healed something in me. I'm so so so grateful to God that I got to experience this. I'm so grateful to my osiepa Coster and the entire @emptydebes team for making this possible. Im glad I got to experience this with Coster and Sule. I hope I never forget how my heart felt this entire trip; and I hope I get to do this again.
First (of many) international gig done! On to the next one.

Serro’s album latest album ‘Dusk to Dawn’ (2025) was one of the most-streamed recently-released Kenyan albums on Spotify, amassing over 1.5 million streams within 6 months. It follows her albums: ‘Kuwe’ (2020) and ‘Misimu’ (2022), all of which are soulful and emotionally immersive projects.

Serro rose to national prominence with her breakout single “Rongai” (2016), produced by Fancy Fingers. She then went on to earn the Overall Best Artist award at the Sondeka Awards for her debut album. Before this, Serro studied music at Sauti Academy and at Kenyatta University and graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Music. She has since grown in sound. This, matched with her natural flair for live performance, makes her one of Kenya’s go-to names when it comes to live music performances.

A few days ago, I hosted the most wonderful group of women. We talked, we ate, we danced and went home feeling very powerful in our bodies.
I'm so so so grateful. This meet up meant the world to me and I'm so glad I did it.
A big thank you to @justmurayah , our choreographer for the day. You really made this so special. I can't wait to do this choreo on stage at some point.
