Maria Tereshchenko is a dynamic Toronto-based dance artist, performer, and instructor whose work spans contemporary, commercial, and theatrical stages. Originally from Protvino, Russia, Maria began her dance journey with classical ballet and has since extensively trained in contemporary, jazz, heels, and commercial styles in Toronto.
She has appeared in live shows and video projects with several Toronto-based companies including Unapologetic Dance Company, SHE the Company, and Cake Cabaret, and has performed in showcases such as Fever After Dark, Dance Ontario’s Dance Weekend, and Drag Ball.
In addition to performing, Maria shares her passion for movement as an instructor at various Toronto studios, hoping to inspire dancers to connect with their intuitive movement style and use dance as a means of self-expression and empowerment.
