The Target 🎯
Before he passed, my grandfather wrote and painted on a small canvas a single word to describe each of his ten grandchildren.
For me, he wrote, “Focused” with a little target painted in red, yellow and blue.
In a simple, hand-painted picture, my grandfather eloquently captured one key characteristic that kept me motivated and excited.
I have used the word “Focused” as inspiration and identity ever since.
No matter where you are on your journey and how you feel about it, focus will move us forward.

What once started as a dream has turned into more than I could have ever imagined. I opened Focused Studios as my business, though it feels more like a passion project.
Focused Studios is here to create a safe and comfortable environment when faced with the natural vulnerabilities of working out and while exercising through creative movement.

Our MFP of the month is Hyun! Hyun has been a part of the community since our soft launch is August 2025, and has been showing up consistently ever since. Attending classes twice a week, every week, Hyun brings such a genuine and positive energy into the space. Always arriving with a big smile and ready to go full out, that presence adds something really special to every class.
