This piece was created for the exquisite body show at
@problemlibrary , running until May 29th, organized by the lovely
@atrevidasofia and
@halden______ ! Inspired by pre-colonial Mexican depictions, the figure uses her feet to plant a germinating seed, highlighting the ancient tools we possess.
The seeds used include fava beans, black beans, Cherokee beans, garbanzos, flax, kidney beans, wild cucumber, and heirloom Italian beans, gifted by my mentor. All seeds were gifted from the community or collected by own hands 𓇢𓆸
