Day 2 Recap – From France to Germany 🇫🇷➡️🇩🇪
What a day on the road! 🚘✨
We started the morning driving together before splitting into two groups to explore some of the stunning French countryside. A quick coffee stop at a local café ☕ set the tone perfectly before we rolled into a relaxed lunch stop.
The afternoon turned into pure driving bliss — flowing French twisties, endless scenery, and then the excitement kicked up a gear as we crossed into Germany for a taste of the autobahn 🛣️💨.
We wrapped up with a smooth arrival at the hotel and a fantastic dinner together — the perfect end to a day full of miles, smiles, and memories.

Day 4 Recap – Ring Day! ❤️🏁
What a journey it’s been. From the very first mile to today’s dinner and awards finale, this years SDT Euro tour has been nothing short of incredible.
We kicked off the morning at the iconic Devil’s Diner 🍳 overlooking the Nürburgring, where some of the group took to the track for their own laps, while others jumped in for the epic Ring Taxi experience 🏎️💨.
The rest of the day was all about soaking up the atmosphere , watching the action, driving a scenic Black Forest loop around the Ring, and stopping for lunch with a view of the track 🛣️☕.
As evening rolled in, we gathered for our closing dinner and traditional awards, emotional, laughter-filled, and the perfect close to an unforgettable few days together.
From awards we moved on to late-night stories at the bar, it was the kind of night that reminds us why we do this.

Day 6 (of Driving) / Day 7 of the Pyrenees Adventure Recce 🏁
And just like that… we pointed the cars north and headed for home 🏠
A proper mileage day today, cruising up through France although the weather had other ideas. Heavy rain for the first half made things a bit more “interesting”, but nothing we couldn’t handle.
We broke it up nicely with a stop in Reims for a laid-back Italian and a chance to dry off before the final push.
From there it was straight to the tunnel, making solid time and keeping things smooth all the way back.
Home safe and sound… what a week that was 😍

Day 5 of the Pyrenees Adventure Recce 🏁
A real day of two halves.
We kicked off on some unreal flowing back roads. Fast, open, and the perfect way to squeeze every last bit out of the driving. One final blast before the long run north.
Then onto one of the standout moments of the trip, arriving at the iconic Millau Viaduct, just as impressive in person as you’d expect (and yes, the Top Gear scene definitely came to mind).
From there, a change of pace as we jumped onto the motorway and made our way up through central France to our final stop before the last day.
Not over yet… one more to go to make It home

Day 4 of the Pyrenees Adventure Recce was special 🌅
We kicked things off with a proper dawn raid, heading up one of the most famous cols in the Pyrenees to catch the sunrise… or at least attempt to. The clouds had other ideas, but it honestly just added to the atmosphere! moody, quiet roads and that early morning stillness you don’t get anywhere else.
From there we pushed back over into France for more climbing, more flowing mountain roads, and just non-stop driving. Every turn felt different today.
Stopped off at a seriously unique lunch spot, one of those places you’d never find unless you knew it was there. Proper hidden gem.
Then wrapped it all up rolling into a stunning medieval town, cold beers in hand and a great dinner to finish the day the right way.
These days just keep stacking up 😍

Day 3 of the Pyrenees Adventure Recce complete ⛰️
A proper day of cols today, the kind you dream about. We were darting between Spain and France, climbing high into the mountains and dropping back down into completely different climates. One minute sun, the next something totally different, the Pyrenees doing their thing 🤣
Serious driving all day. Big climbs, tight sections, and roads that just don’t let up. The GTS and M140i didn’t miss a beat — absolutely flying through it and loving every second.
And the views… unreal. One of those days where you’re constantly stopping just to take it in.

Day 2 of the Pyrenees Adventure Recce complete 👌
A proper step up today as we headed from Pamplona down into the mountains and across towards Jaca and honestly, this is what the Pyrenees are all about.
Big climbs, flowing descents, and roads that just keep giving. We cut through stunning ski resort towns, carved our way over mountain passes, and had those proper “this is why we do it” moments all day.
Stopped off for a relaxed, family-run lunch that couldn’t have been more perfect - simple, authentic, and exactly what you want mid-drive.
And then to top it all off, rolled into an incredible hotel in Jaca to wrap up the day.
Today had everything. And somehow… it just keeps getting better 😍

Day 1 of the Pyrenees Adventure Recce done ✅🇪🇸
We rolled off the ferry into Santander to some pretty moody weather… but it didn’t hang around for long. As we pushed inland, the skies cleared and the roads came alive! fast, flowing, and exactly what this trip is all about.
An unreal drive across into Pamplona, getting a proper taste of what’s to come this week.
Wrapped it up the right way too 🤤 pinchos, cold beers, and a buzzing atmosphere in the old town 🍻
If today is anything to go by… we’re in for a serious week. Can’t wait for tomorrow!

2026 season opener 🚀
Kicking the season off today with some members from our community - Met up early and headed down to @winchesterautobarn for a proper breakfast, then over to @caffeineandmachine – The Hut to see what was out.
Great to see everyone and have such an eclectic mix of cars join us, exactly what it’s all about.
Also gave everyone a first look at the new SDT MX-5, which will be getting turned into our track car this year… with one more to come 👀
