Misneach means courage, but on this night it also meant community and solidarity. It’s been just over a week since Misneach and we still can’t believe how many of ye showed up to support the cause. Between the event, merch sales on the night and the prize draw, we’re delighted to announce we have raised £3050 for Palestinian aid - being split between The Sameer Project and Palestinian Youth Movement 🇵🇸 Massive shoutout to our amazing DJs - bhí siad dochreidte 💚 @djshampain @sohotsospicy @joe.murphy___ @steckybone @user__rl . And a huge thanks to @__jameskiernan__ for taking these videos on the night, and to @vittoriawharfstudio for hosting the night 💚 Every pound raised is going directly to Palestinian-led organisations providing medical aid and supporting communities on the ground and we’re so grateful to all of you for showing up for the cause. Massive grá and gratitude to everyone who came to the gig or bought a raffle ticket - ye made this night possible. Go raibh míle míle maith agaibh ❤️ until next time Ní saoirse go saoirse don Phalaistín. Grá mór, Fiachra & Emily x

The ceasefire is a pause, not an end. We stand in unwavering solidarity with Palestinians as they rebuild and continue their pursuit of freedom and dignity. The Misneach Prize Draw brings together Irish artists and makers who’ve generously donated their work in support of the Palestinian people. Every entry raises money for The Sameer Project, providing medical aid on the ground, and the Palestinian Youth Movement, a grassroots network building power and liberation from the ground up. Swipe through to see the prizes that are available. Here’s what’s up for grabs, all donated by incredible Irish creators: * Pellador jumper * Paddy Wok black card (free food for life) * “Free Palestine” ring from Stoned to Death * Aoife Cawley scarf, keyring, pin + stickers * “Banshee Bones” tee by St. Diabhal * Irish courses from Irish with Mollie (x3) * Signed Kojaque “Town’s Dead” vinyl * Signed Kean Kavanagh tee * €25 voucher for Poblacht barbershop All proceeds from the raffle and from the upcoming Misneach event on the 24th will go directly to Palestinians - to those surviving, resisting, and now beginning to recover.
Misneach means courage as Gaeilge - courage to speak truth, to show up and to resist. We’re turning that misneach into direct action - bígí linn. Tickets for the prize draw and for the gig are at the links in bio
A huge go raibh míle maith agaibh to all involved. Ní saoirse go saoirse don Phalaistín 🇵🇸

We’ve been trying to put into words how special this night was - go raibh míle maith agaibh for showing up for Croíthe ❤️‍🔥. The energy and solidarity in the room was so incredible. We’re deeply grateful for your support and want to give a huge thank you to everyone who was involved: thank you so much for hosting us @nextdoorrecords_ and for your wonderful staff, thank you to our amazing acts on the night and thank you to the incredible designers and artists who donated to our raffle.
We’re thrilled to share that we raised £1340 for @medicalaidpal . Táimíd an-bhuíoch 🇵🇸🩷 This gathering was so important to us - not only to celebrate and connect for an important cause, but to stand in solidarity with those are suffering. At this time of year, when so many of us are getting ready to celebrate and enjoy festivities, it’s important to remember those who are still suffering unimaginable hardship. Please do continue to donate to @medicalaidpal or other charities if you can this Christmas. Ní neart go cur le chéile - there is no strength without unity. The Irish will always stand strong with the Palestinian people 🇵🇸🇮🇪. Saoirse don Phalaistín We’ll be sharing more photos and videos from the night after the break, so coinnigh súil ar an spás seo. CROÍ NA GAEILGE & SELECTA GROVE PRESENTS: KYNSY ⚡️ @kynsy___ With 4 days to go until Croíthe, we wanted to start introducing you to our ceoltóirí iontacha and give you snippets of their ceol. For a long while, Kynsy - the confident on stage performer - and Ciara Lindsey, the off stage songwriter behind it all, were two quite different people. Having gained swift praise from the likes of NME, DIY and Dork for her first singles ‘Cold Blue Light’ and ‘Happiness Isn’t A Fixed State’ back in 2020, the Dublin-raised, London-based musician soon found herself being heralded as a thrilling new voice in guitar music; upon the release of 2021 debut EP ‘Things That Don’t Exist’, reviews comparing her fizzing, earwormy indie-rock to luminaries such as The Strokes and St. Vincent came flooding in. But while Kynsy was immediately finding her place in the scene, Ciara was still trying to work out hers. In pursuit of these big dreams, Kynsy went full-pelt into her art. Having cut her teeth in a “good but chaotic” all-female rock band in her late teens, the MO for her solo work had always been to put musicality at the fore, working “with really good musicians who were gonna push me and take my songs to the next level”. After the immediate excitement around ‘Things That Don’t Exist’, second EP ‘Something To Do With Love’ soon followed in 2022. Recorded with noted producer Charlie Andrews (alt-J, Wolf Alice, Marika Hackman), it embraced a more experimental stance, and saw Kynsy flirt with her poppier side. Catch her from 9pm downstairs @nextdoorrecords x ceithre lá fágtha // four days left 🇵🇸 🕊️ 🇱🇧 🩷 🇮🇪
