This song is about that moment when youâre barely breathing in the chaos
but you decide to choose trust over fear.
The first time I heard this instrumental track, I was deeply moved.
Stephanâs vibrant drums and Elvinâs beautiful keys and production sparked something in me instantly.

Today is a celebration of life in the deepest sense because itâs not just my birthday⊠itâs yours too â€ïž
Itâs funny how I often receive messages, praise, and love, sometimes even in ways that feel larger than me, but the woman who deserves the deepest reverence, the purest acknowledgment, is you. My mother. My earthly mother.
I donât know if the universe chose you for me, or if somewhere beyond this life I chose you⊠but what I do know is this: I am endlessly grateful that our souls met in this form, in this lifetime. And while you are not my âspiritual mother,â you are the most extraordinary, grounding, loving human mother I could have ever known.
People sometimes speak to me about my openness, my vulnerability, my relationship with my inner world⊠but that space only exists because you created it first. Because you showed me through your presence, your wisdom, your unconditional love that feeling deeply is not weakness. That pain is not something to hide. That being human, fully and honestly, is something to honor.
You gave me, and my siblings, the rarest gift: the freedom to be exactly who we are. To feel what we feel. To grow, to struggle, to rise without shame. That kind of love shapes a soul forever.

One week until our first album together is finally out: Movinâ by Selah Sue & The Gallands.
Here are a few little glimpses from the journey : Moments in the studio, ideas floating in the air that somehow became songs, creative chaos on filming day, and the smiles during the album cover shoot when it all started to feel real.
What began as simple sparks of inspiration slowly grew into something alive. Music has a way of guiding its own path, and we just tried to listen.
Deeply grateful for every soul who shared their time, energy, and heart in this process, and for the memories that shaped these songs along the way.
Canât wait for you to hear it, feel it, and let it move through you in your own way.
