DITA Design Director, Mike, reflects on his early path into eyewear design, beginning with learning how to cut and tint lenses, then evolving into designing his first frame, MARQUIS.
As his understanding of design and manufacturing grew, so did his vision. What began as a single frame expanded into defining franchises, including the GRANDMASTER Series, MACH Series, STATESMAN Series and FLIGHT Series.
With success came a new perspective. The instinct to preserve what works, and the hesitation to alter something already proven.
That mindset would shift over time, revealing a simple truth. When a design resonates beyond expectation, it does not end there, it continues.
