On April 18, we got our asses kicked. We showed up peacefully and were met with tear gas, rubber bullets, bean bags, and pepper spray.
What looked like a failure in that moment became something else entirely. It forced the world to pay attention. It exposed what was happening behind closed doors. And because people refused to look away, it led to the largest live rescue in history.
1,500 dogs will never be experimented on again. They’ll feel the sun on their backs, rain on their fur, grass under their paws. They’ll learn what safety feels like. What love feels like.
This is what happens when people stand behind what they believe in. Change is possible.

🚨 UPDATE: Ridglan Farms Beagle Rescue! 🙏🐕
Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin is reportedly preparing to release the beagles from its animal testing and breeding facility into the care of licensed rescue groups. ❤️
According to World Animal News (WAN) sources who were on the ground during the April 18, 2026 attempted beagle rescue effort, several organizations are now involved and will be working together to safely remove the beagles from the facility, where approximately 2,000 are still reported to remain in wire cages.
The organizations reached an agreement with Ridglan Farms that includes payment for the beagles’ release. Those involved include @bigdogranchrescue and the @centerforahumaneeconomy along with other animal groups.
Yesterday I witnessed friends get brutally attacked by the police for attempting to rescue 2,000 beagles from Ridglan Farms.
Tear gas, pepper spray, and rubber bullets were deployed. As horrific as it was, none of this compares what the dogs that are being criminally abused go through every day.
I am still in shock and processing everything, and as much as I wish we all left holding a pup — I am so incredibly proud of everyone who was there. This was a win in so many ways for the movement. Believe me when I say we won’t give up! We are just getting started. #untileverycageisempty

What was witnessed inside Ridglan Farms on March 15th is something no living being should ever endure. Thousands of beagles confined to cages, denied sunlight, denied softness, denied a life.
These dogs have been subjected to painful experiments, many without proper anesthesia, and procedures carried out by unlicensed individuals. A judge has already acknowledged that serious animal cruelty violations occurred here. And still, nothing meaningful has been done to free them.
So we’re going back.
On April 19th, we return with one goal: to empty every single cage.
This is a peaceful call to action. It is our right to rescue.
To step in where systems have failed.
To give these dogs their first breath of fresh air, their first step on grass, their first moment of love.
