Smith, a beloved community organizer, activist, and co-founder of Direct Action for Rights (DARE). With the adjacent street recently renamed in Smith’s honor, her granddaughter—Chef Bree of Sunday Soups—will be present to receive the gift. wrapped up a super sweet rocking chair class at @pinecroftwoodschool led by @robert.spiece and @katiebister , assisted by @littlekingtrashmouf , thanks to support by @the_chairmakers_toolbox ! got to tour @bcstudentcraft and see all of the incredible work made as part of their tuition free enrollment model and spend some dreamy time in the woods. thanks to all my fellow classmates who made the workshop unforgettable. can’t wait to incorporate more woodworking into my practice! 🪵
