What happens to Krishna and the speed daters?
Come by and find out for yourself at
@riversidestudioslondon , in River Room.
Hi, my name is Kumar Muniandy, an actor, writer and theatre-maker.
I would like to invite you to come and see my solo show Second Class Queer at Riverside Studio, Hammersmith.
I wrote Second Class Queer in 2021 and have performed it at various venues and festivals such Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe, Camden Fringe, English Theatre Berlin, Ernst Deutsch Theatre Hamburg, Faki Festival in Zagreb, Croatia, Regensburg University, Germany, Bangalore International Festival in India and now back to London a for run.
Second Class Queer is about a gay Tamil – Malaysian man experiences on a live gay speed dating night in Berlin and his encounters with five wildly different daters, each one pushing him to confront love, loss, identity, and the truth he never shared with his late mother.
Second Class Queer is a fast paced, funny, tender and honest play that will make you cry and laugh at the same time.
I will be doing nine performances on various dates and times in May at Riverside Studio Hammersmith and they are:
Tue 12, Tue 26 , Wed 27th May: 7.15pm
Wed 13, Sat 16, Tue 19, Sun 24, Sat 30 May: 2.15pm
Sun 17th May: 5.15pm
If you would like to come and see the play, I have some limited discounted tickets with a 20% discount available (code: SECOND20).
