The Art League tackled still life painting this week, focusing on shape, negative space, and color. Teams were determined by a rapid fire art quiz 🧠💪🏻 allowing the winner to choose their seat on team flowers or team greenery. We sketched out our designs first before filling up our pages with color, starting with mid-tones then adding shading and highlights and by finishing up with the colorful background. Can you see the concentration !?🧐👩🏼🎨👨🏽🎨 Next week we will take all the art from the first 4 weeks for a special competitive project between the Art League teams (stay tuned 👀) As always thank you to @the_steamery_org and Peaceful Valley Heritage for providing this (100% free!) programming for our creative youth!
