This Armed Forces Day, I’d like to recognize our Soldiers as our @usarmy ’s greatest asset. I think about them every day, and getting to meet them across five continents is what makes this job so meaningful. Each time, I see the same thing. Discipline, pride, and a commitment to getting better every day. Proud to serve alongside them.

I discussed with the House Armed Services Committee how @usarmy acquisition reform is already delivering real results for our Soldiers. By transforming the way we procure equipment, we can get our Soldiers what they need to fight and win at a pace that keeps up with the battlefield.

In front of the House Armed Services Committee, I talked about how the @usarmy is rethinking munitions by breaking systems into components and tapping into small and mid-sized businesses for solutions. This approach will let us scale, lower costs, and deliver munitions to Soldiers faster.

Testified before the House Armed Services Committee on how transforming the Army Corps of Engineers delivers critical infrastructure for Americans faster. Less bureaucracy means safer communities, stronger infrastructure, and real results people see in their daily lives. “Building Infrastructure, Not Paperwork” is an initiative rooted in building with purpose so American’s can feel the impact in their own communities.

I made it clear to the House Armed Services Committee, why the right to repair our own systems is critical for Soldiers around the world. When equipment breaks it cannot take us out of the fight. Our Soldiers must have the right to repair the gear they use to win our nations wars wherever they are and whatever the conditions.

Recognizing excellence across the formation! 🇺🇸🤝 U.S. Army Soldiers and Airmen are achieving incredible things every day. During a recent visit to the U.S. Army Western Hemisphere Command headquarters, Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll met with a select group of service members from across the Fort Bragg footprint. These Soldiers and Airmen were recognized for their exceptional expertise, dedication, and the relentless hard work required to ensure the successful deployment operations of the 82nd Airborne Division. As a token of appreciation for their service, Secretary Driscoll presented each member with a challenge coin. Beyond the recognition, the Secretary took the time to speak with each service member about their personal "why"—discussing their motivations for serving and their professional goals for the future. #FreedomsGuardian @secarmy @usarmy @18thairbornecorps

The drone threat is evolving in real time, and I made that clear to the Senate Armed Services Committee. JIATF-401 is central to our response, aligning interagency partners to close capability gaps and quickly field counter UAS solutions. The @USArmy is leading the efforts to keep Americans at home safe.

Honored to testify before the Senate Armed Services Committee on the real, tangible progress we have made in Army Transformation over the past year. This isn’t theoretical, it’s yielding actual results. Every day, Soldiers are driving change and our Army is hitting measurable milestones that prove transformation is happening now.

Spoke with the Senate Armed Services Committee to explain Project Jailbreak, a new way to connect our advanced warfighting systems that our Soldiers rely on. Securing the right to integrate enhances out Soldiers ability to stay ahead on the modern battlefield.

Today I testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee, and let them know that the status quo is no longer going to cut it. We must invest where it matters most to push real transformation that promptly delivers capabilities to our Soldiers.

Across Europe and Africa, it is clear how quickly our capabilities are evolving. Our Soldiers are training hard and moving fast, and we will not let outdated systems hold them back. This trip reinforced the urgency to secure the right to integrate through Project Jailbreak. We cannot afford to wait when speed is what will define the modern battlefield.

Last week, I traveled across Europe and Africa to speak with our Soldiers, and their message to me was clear: they are innovating at speed, but disconnected systems are holding them back. That is why we are launching our Right to Integrate initiative and Project Jailbreak. By partnering with 9 of the nation’s leading defense companies, we are securing the “Right to Integrate” and digitally connecting these systems to deliver capability at speed. Through the largest hackathon in our history, we are breaking open these historically siloed systems to accelerate decision-making and give our Soldiers the decisive edge required to win on the modern battlefield.
