#CelebratingPeople | Fresh out of training as a 72A Computer Systems Analyst, Linda discovered something that would shape the rest of her professional life: a deep, unshakeable passion for computer networking and information systems. The Army didn't just give her a job - it gave her a purpose.
"It is where my passion for computer networking started," she recalls, "and then General Dynamics just boosted that even more."
After four years of service, Linda transitioned out of the military in 1986, but she never left the mission behind. General Dynamics became her next uniform, and she has been wearing it proudly ever since.

#ICYMI | Yesterday (May 10) was Small Business Day! Did you know that General Dynamics Mission Systems has taken great pride in partnering with domestic small businesses?
"Of all my responsibilities, connecting the right small business with the right opportunity within General Dynamics Mission Systems is what energizes me most," said Suzanne Trinh, and Small Business Programs lead. "Seeing that connection come to life — watching a small business grow and contribute to our mission — that is deeply rewarding."
Small Business Day is a celebration, but at General Dynamics Mission Systems, it is also a year-round commitment. A commitment to the small business owners whose dreams fuel innovation; to the employees and families behind every contract; and to the communities that grow when small businesses win. And above all, to the warfighters whose missions depend on getting this right.

“This Mother’s Day, I’ve been reflecting on what it really means to show up — at work, at home and for the people who count on you most. As a working mom at General Dynamics Mission Systems, I know firsthand that balancing career and family isn’t always easy. Some days are exhausting. Some days feel impossible. But I wouldn’t trade any of it. To any woman wondering if you can build a meaningful career and still be a present, loving, involved mom — you absolutely can. It may not look perfect every day, but perfection was never the goal. Being there, leading with love, and continuing to grow through it all is what matters.”

Reconnaissance demands more than mobility — it demands the ability to sense, communicate, and decide faster than the threat.
Congratulations to our teammates at General Dynamics Land Systems on the U.S. Marine Corps Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle Pre-Production Development award. This is what meeting the mission looks like.
At General Dynamics Mission Systems, our Rampart chassis delivers open-architecture, battle-management-ready C5ISR infrastructure purpose-built for next-generation combat vehicles — a single rugged system designed so warfighters can rapidly adopt new capabilities without redesigning the vehicle. It's already proven on combat vehicles in the Army, the Marines' joint force partner. It was built for exactly this kind of moment.
When General Dynamics builds the platform, the mission systems inside it are already there.
#CelebratingPeople | Help us congratulate Systems Engineer Architect Leadership Program (SEAL) Cohort 13! The graduation ceremony was held at our Scottsdale, Arizona, facility and included our vice presidents of engineering, directors of engineering and local engineering leadership.
SEAL is a 12-month program designed for mid-to senior-level engineering system architect professionals interested in increasing their capabilities to take on complex and strategic initiatives. The program is designed to develop senior-level system architects with enterprise perspective to help drive technical solutions that leverage the full breadth of General Dynamics Mission Systems capabilities, advance customer missions and deliver business commitments to the organization.
SEAL Cohort 13 had more than 700 hours of formal education, electives execution and training to become experts in systems engineering. The cohort spanned 11 General Dynamics Mission Systems locations and three additional General Dynamics business units, with participants representing sites across the U.S. and Canada. The program offers a Professional Master's Certificate in Applied Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, focused elective experiences, networking and training, setting these leaders up for future success for our engineering organization, the General Dynamics Mission Systems business and our General Dynamics business unit partners.

For our Bluefin Robotics team at General Dynamics Mission Systems, it comes down to one philosophy: move like a startup, deliver like a defense prime.
We design modular UUV systems with interchangeable hardware and software — creating a foundation for low-cost, low-risk, rapid deployment that gives our customers and partners the edge they need, when they need it.
It starts at our Quincy, Massachusetts waterfront facility, where direct ocean access accelerates in-water testing and informs smarter design decisions. From there, we scale seamlessly at our Taunton, Massachusetts manufacturing facility — transitioning from prototype to full-rate production with precision and speed.
