Yasmin Alsdais Interiors delivered MUH Residence, a four floor, 3,900 sq m private home in Riyadh completed over three years. Conceived for a multi generational family of more than 15 members, the residence balances scale with intimacy, expression with comfort, and individuality with everyday functionality.
Yasmin Alsdais Interiors has been shortlisted for Living Space – Global Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2026.

design et al are delighted to reveal the winners of The International Design & Architecture Awards 2025.
The winners were revealed at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, on Friday 5 September 2025. This year was a record breaking year for the Awards. Over 650 entries were submitted, over 500 of those were shortlisted. Voting was up by 33% to hit a record breaking 121,793 verified votes.

At Burj Al Arab, KIRA is brought to life by the design studio Verhaal, whose concept unites Mediterranean warmth with Asian tranquillity. Situated in the heart of Marsa Al Arab, KIRA unfolds as a narrative experience inspired by the silver dollar plant. This delicate, translucent botanical, native to both regions, guided the tone, texture and palette of the interiors.
Verhaal has been shortlisted for Restaurant – Global Award in The International Hotel & Property Awards 2025.

I feel honoured to be collaborating on a project about fashion and lifestyle in the Middle East and North Africa during the early to mid-twentieth century. As part of this project, I had the privilege of taking pictures at a stunning and immaculately preserved private villa built in the 1930s, located in the heart of Cairo. It was an almost magical experience to step back in time and be captivated by the glamour and timeless elegance of this bygone era. I'm excited to share some vignettes here with you.
