You were a wild one, 2025.
There’s so many things that happened this year that it’s hard to put into words how much has changed in the way I produce and share my work.
From losing loved ones to being a witness to new life, this cycle of grief and hope is so much more present as we get older.
Though, Vision said best, ‘What is Grief, if not Love Persevering?’
So we gotta continue to let Love lead the way.
In the way we continue to build community, the ways in which we document our world & the ways in which we’re trying to protect it.
As many of y’all know, in 2023, I made the decision to step into the world of full-time freelancing. I remember the conversation with my parents vividly, ‘..as long as you do it in Love, keep going..’
It was a crazy leap, and looking back at the growth over the last 24 months has been nothing short of a blessing.
In 2024, I photographed 128 gigs and thought to myself damn, that was a lot. Let’s do more.
And more we did! in 2025 we had 216 bookings.
I got to meet and document so, so many incredible organizations and people this year, thank you.
Thank you to every client, partner, and fellow creative who trusted me with their vision this year.

And on the more personal side of things -
Praise God because my parents are cancer FREE.
Some of the best parts about being a portrait photographer is getting to listen to folks share about experiences in their field of work, their communities and the things they love. Being able to document such joyful people and hear their stories will forever fuel my drive to keep doing this.
It’s a blessing when you get to be a part of people’s lives at all. 🫶🏽
