Can’t even count how many times we pitch a wild, out-of-the-box idea, and it doesn’t get picked up—like, 99% of the time. So major shoutout to @mickey17 and @warnerbros for letting us run with this one. Might just be my favorite project yet—and I’ve literally blown up a streamer’s head before, so that’s saying something.
Huge thanks to @thewillneff for letting us actually throw him into this (literally).
And, as always, @baer.drew and @jacehardwick absolutely crushed it.
We’re going live on twitch.tv/willneff at 4pm pst if you want to witness these “eliminations” in real time.
I am usually the one behind the camera but I was fortune enough to have the opportunity to help out with a silly twitch promo for Amazon Prime Video’s “Air”. What a blast
Trying to add more work to my grid, apologies for the old post
I was fortune enough to work with Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel last year on a Hyundai commercial I “wrote and directed”. I say that in quotes because they are just amazing improvers and they did most of the heavy lifting. But for little old me it was still a dream come true.
🤞 DoorDash picks up this season!
The last two weeks have been some of the most stressful I’ve ever gone through. It’s been hard to slow down long enough to celebrate any wins. But right now, sitting in the airport before my long-delayed honeymoon, I finally have a moment of peace.
Sometimes the tough stretches can’t be allowed to overshadow the good. Sometimes you even have to re-edit the commercial so you’re the focal point…because honestly, it’s the better cut.
I’m looking forward to ten days of creative recharge with my wonderful wife so I can come back ready to stack a few wins on the plate.
See ya’ll on the other side and remember…TOP GOLF HAS FOOTBALL.
It’s a bummer I have to make this post. Last year, I had the opportunity to reach out to one of the co-creators of Smiling Friends to help create a commercial for the FDA’s anti-smoking campaign. The commercial took over eight months to complete.
Unfortunately, it’s been canned due to this administration and DOGE cuts. A huge waste.
At least I can post it here.
Can’t speak highly enough of the amazingly talented team @cusackcreatures for taking on this project.
Well I didn’t have directing an Erectile Dysfunction spot on my 2025 bingo card…but here we are. This is far from my normal wheelhouse but overall it was a great learning experience.
Huge shout out to my amazing team! The spot would be nothing without them!
You should hire all these people/teams

After four weeks, Doritos FINALLY approved my spot, and I can finally share it! This project didn’t go exactly as planned—my schedule was packed, and I ended up throwing this together in just 72 hours. While the spot isn’t perfect or at the scale I originally envisioned, I’m proud I stuck to my promise to make it happen.
This process reminded me how much I’ve relied on big crews and budgets to mask certain flaws in the past. Without those, this project was a crash course in what I still need to improve—and I’m genuinely excited to grow from it.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped me pull this off. Especially @ezmackles for being such a great creative partner. Also huge shout out to @kinseyjgreen & @rightmattsmith I would of never been able to do this without all of your help!
I won’t be taking home the grand prize, but completing this feels like a win in itself. And we will see, I still think I have a solid shot at the semi’s… #doritoscrash
Well, putting politics aside for a minute, I was given a very unique opportunity this weekend, and I’m extremely grateful I took the risk. On paper, setting up a livestream game of Madden doesn’t sound too difficult—until you factor in a 2-day timeline, an internetless convention center, and the final week of a presidential campaign. I’ve done many side projects as a business, but this was the first time Don’t Panic! LLC felt real.
Watching this stream spread like wildfire across the internet has been completely unforgettable, and I can only hope this is the first of many more.
There are so many people I can’t thank publicly who were vital to this stream’s success (you know who you are, and you are all rock stars).
But! I can thank my wonderful wife, @ezmackles . You were the perfect partner, and I literally couldn’t have done this without you. You support me through all my craziness (and there’s a lot of it), and I will never be able to thank you enough.
P.S. His controller was on…lot of trolls out there saying he wasn’t actually playing. Trust me. He did.
Welp another commercial for the books. It wasn’t the exact direction that @kinseyjgreen and I wanted to go but happy enough now that’s it’s finished. Not every day you get to work with a cute ass golden. Shout out: @maxpava@logicink and @versaceversace_firecrotchy for all their help! And of course my partner in crime @kinseyjgreen
I did this project for Amazon’s “The Boys” last year. It was one of my favorite projects but it unfortunately never saw the light of day because of how realistic we made it…oops. We were going to do a full stream and secretly cut to this video and freak out chat…they were probably right lol.
Last one. This was my first commercial I wrote and produced. The concept was really great, we built two different rooms sets next to each other but talent wasn’t very comfortable on camera…lol. It was definitely a learning process for me.
I just found out that this commercial I wrote and produced last year for 5 Gum ended up having full national campaign and was played on ESPN and other national services. Definitely wild to find out that this ad was played for tens of millions of people.
