A short film, I shot last spring. Finally making its festival run, and wanted to share some stills. It’s always a pleasure working with Jaden and experiencing his unique style of storytelling. He’s a great mentor and an even better friend who has helped me so much over the past three years on my journey. I’m grateful I had the chance to collaborate with him and Tye on this story, truly appreciated it.

Not my usual post, and a very late one. This past summer I got the opportunity to film behind the scenes content of 3 sections of CHA youth participating in groups that deal with filmmaking, screenwriting, and photography. I was amazed at how they all created so much stuff in a short span of time.
Although I’m missing so much footage and this is not the actually highlight video for the program. I wanted to put this together for some of my favorite shots, that I have access to. It’s really beautiful watching humans create and be creative towards something meaningful.

“Attempts” — a project I shot last spring with my new and incredibly talented friend, Damien. Just sharing a few frames and some BTS moments from the shoot.
So proud of how this one turned out. A calm, creative, and just a really fun set to be on.
We hit a problem on shoot day when our fluid head got stuck on the tripod, so we ended up going handheld for most of it. Funny how those little setbacks can push you in the right direction, cause this damn near turned out beautifully.

“Made this for a Tony Hawk remix challenge w/ 900 Films + DePaul. We got OG footage of Tony skating, rules were: remix the original Tony Hawk footage into something new (can’t show it, so it’s swapped out on the tv). Hit up my guy Aidan to help shoot footage and green screen stuff. Bella, nailed it and made a sick edit, including the amazing vfx style. Actually saved me. Fun fact: that room is not even real. All in all, just wanted to feel like I did as a kid, letting my imagination run free." - Sean
