DALIA WEEKEND 1 🍓
May 16th - May 18th 2025
One of the huge takeaways for me coming from this weekend was how talented everyone on this crew is. I am forever grateful to have had the people that we did on this set; without them, the film would not be what we have now.
One of my biggest worries going into this weekend was not knowing if I'd be able to direct in Spanish and English at the same time. I think spending a lot of time with my actors beforehand alleviated that.
Everyone had an incredible attitude during the long days, and from what I heard, the team had a lot of fun filming, which I appreciated a lot. It was such an incredible experience this weekend. I will hold it close to my heart as a time I found out what it means to direct and lead.

Taking time to get back into reality and trying different things. Burn out is super real, it’s important to give yourself time to slow down and take in the little things life presents you. I feel like we’re all so caught up in a fast paced world, that it’s easy to forget that great things take time. To catch a sunset requires patience, to finish a project requires even more.
I hope you can take some time to slow down, but also never forget what you’ve been put on Earth to do.
