Walking the carpet for the @chitaawards meet and greet was incredibly special. To celebrate our craft with the hodge podge of new Broadway and off broadway shows was such a pleasant experience. Performing at the Ed Sullivan theatre with this incredible cast has been a dream come true. The 6th picture in this stack refers to #bombaydreams in 2004, my Broadway debut. @zahfparoo and I used to gaze out of our dressing room window (the window I am pointing to in the picture) watching celebrities enter the #edsullivantheater door, and I'd say one day I'll be on that stage. Now, playing alongside such talented individuals has exceeded my expectations, and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. Looking back at the Broadway theatre from the other window is surreal. I miss my Bombay family, and proud to be with this @chessbway family. I'm not crying, you are.

I am overwhelmed with joyous sentimentality and incredibly proud to Open @chessbway tonight. This show influenced my childhood. This production has been a lighthouse in the storm of the last several years. I am very blessed to have my parents join me on the red carpet. I am lucky that my children have been able to journey and learn from watching broadways best, in what I believe is one of THE BEST shows to hit broadway in years. I adore this cast.
