First grid post in years to share some of my favorite moments I captured on tour this past fall with @nationoflanguage throughout the US and Europe.

Can’t believe I’m writing this, but I’m a @glaad Media Award winner! Trans Youth Town Hall with @raquel_willis which I produced and edited for @logotv won Best Online Video Journalism! From hearing Raquel’s concept through the 10 watch parties at LGBTQ centers around the country, the project was truly a labor of love for everyone involved - and there were so many. We made this just over a year ago, and unfortunately, the politicization of trans bodies has only worsened. If you read no further, I hope that in this perilous time for trans rights, we all stay engaged and continue to fight for equality for ALL. I feel very fortunate to have been able to work on a series that lifted up the brave, honest & eloquent voices of trans and nonbinary youth from across the country (@therealrebekah @thhrift @the.visual.poetry , Miles, Jinx, Ollie, Finn & many more) that spoke of the struggle, but more importantly, joy. I’ll never forget noticing parents at the shoot moved to tears to see their child be so open and celebrated by peers and possibility models like our panel of @smartassjen @chasestrangio & @thedominiquemorgan It goes without saying none of this would have happened without Raquel, co-producers @mikekelton & @_sammanzella and the whole Logo / @mtvnews (rip) team @zach.oconnor @chrisreindeer @virginialowman @cocoromack , DP @blackerberryfilms and the whole crew. @terronrm - without your belief in us and ability to convince the powers that be to back it, none of this would have happened. After 8 years together (and 4 being engaged), we officially tied the knot on 5.22.22. To have so many loved ones gathered to celebrate and support us was beyond humbling. As cliche as it sounds, it truly made it the best day ever. Highly recommend everyone finds a reason at some point in life to dance the night away with all the beautiful souls in your life under one roof. 📸: @llstylephoto

So excited and proud to finally have this video out in the world. The spirit of NYC on marathon day is truly unlike any other, will miss it this year. Happy 1st Birthday to Leo! If anyone deserves the #glowup award, it’s definitely him. From 2.6 lbs of shaved legs from IV’s and a bizarre bald friar patch, I’d say he’s turned into quite the handsome doggo - all 8lbs of him. And especially now, his blissful lack of awareness and genuine love for life (and attention, and sticks) has been a bigger source of happiness than I ever imagined possible.
