A night like this doesn’t happen on its own.
It takes people who care. People who give. People who believe in what’s possible for our community.
A huge thank you goes to our sponsors and supporters for making this year’s gala happen.

We're incredibly grateful to the Title Sponsor for this year's gala!
A Khmer Buddhist Foundation (Cambodian Progress Fund) is helping us make this year’s event possible. And because of support like this, 1,000+ Southeast Asian community members will get access to education, mental health services, and pathways to opportunity every year.
This is what community looks like.
Now it’s our turn to show up.

A huge S/O to our newest grads from the Asian Youth Prevention Services – Environmental Prevention:
Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (and Other Drugs) program! 🎓✨
Over the past six months, 10 amazing youth built leadership skills, got real about substance use, and used storytelling as a tool for advocacy. Their final project? A powerful zine on vaping and teen health—created by youth, for the community.
They presented their work to community members and thoughtfully engaged in dialogue around prevention and change. We’re proud of every single one of them.
Special thanks to our facilitators, Niet and Margarette, for their leadership.
And we're grateful to the Tenderloin Station officers for showing up, and to the San Francisco Police Community Foundation for supporting our grads. 🎉
This is more than a gala. It’s a celebration of who we are.
Join us for a night of music, dance and culture from across our Southeast Asian community:
🎸 Thai Cultural Center of Wat Mongkolratanaram
🧜♀️ Khmer Amathak Dance Troupe performing Sovan Macha
🎤 DJ Peter “ggpete” Quiambao Jr.
Come celebrate 49 years of community, culture and impact with us.

What does school success actually look like?
It looks like our youth showing up, getting their homework done, and building real confidence every single week. 💛
Right now, 100% of students in SEADC’s K–8 program are completing 90% of their homework—with support from bilingual staff who get them.
This kind of impact doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of community.

We’re looking for community-minded folks who want to show up and make a real impact.
At SEADC, volunteers are a huge part of how we support Southeast Asian families across our community—from youth programs to language access to everyday support.
Right now, we could especially use help with:
• Front desk + data entry
• Youth + academic support
• Volunteer coordination
• Bilingual interpretation
• Outreach + marketing
Whether you’ve got a few hours a week or just want to plug in where you can, there’s a place for you here.
Learn how to join our volunteer community (link in bio) and let’s do this work together 🤝
