Tomorrow night we’re bringing you a night of something different to the norm to the @banktoptavern We’ve put together a night of Punk. This is going to be our first of many punk nights as we looking to expand to the standard metal nights. Remember that parking is free. You must make sure you drop your car registration details into the tablet located inside the venue. Failure to do so will result in a parking fine. Time draws near! With tickets selling as fast that time we auctioned off a date night with @bocubones Get yourselves down to Ye Golden Lion in Wellingborough for the Metal 2 The Masses - Semi Final 1. See some absolutely awesome bands!

Just a reminder that we return to the @banktoptavern this coming Friday with a night of Punk. That is correct. We’ve been asked to start booking some punk bands so this will really be our first outing. We’ve got 3 absolutely insane acts from across the UK. Kicking off the night we have Sheffield based hardcore/punk crossover outfit @anxiety_states You me be familiar with these boys as we have worked with them on a previous event at the Holy Diver. Amazing act and a great way to kick proceedings off. Up next we have Scotland based 2 piece Punk/Grunge outfit @undervolt_band Their music has been compared to Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Tool, AC/DC, Mastodon, Alice In Chains, ZZ Top and Rush. We are really looking forward to be working with a new band and one that comes highly recommended. Our headliners are Peterborough based punk rockers @scumbusuk They are a laid back Honest Punk Rock band formed in Peterborough, UK. Taking influence from both the 90’s Ska punk revival and the late 70’s DIY punk bands Scumbus blend the two into their own raw style of DIY. Again another new act for the 0161. We really do want to try and book more punk bands. We’ve been asked many many times. This will be a great night.
