Thanks to @freshfruitfest and @dramaleague , we are getting performance space, rehearsal space, and box office support for our workshop of "Billy" for free! But we still have to pay for props, costumes, PR, and our artists. We are proud to say that $7K of our $8K budget is going to paying our artists equitably. To that end, we are trying to raise at least $4K by April 24th. The more we raise, the more likely it is that we can continue this show beyond our one week at the festival! While my play didn't advance, I'm still overjoyed that it's a semifinalist at this year's @austinfilmfest ! It's wild 'Billy to His Friends' is getting its flowers exactly 50 years after its main character saved President Ford's life.
