Really nervous to do this but here goes: Last year I recorded music that I’m going to begin the process of finally releasing.
“Lights Down Low” will be released on 1/28. Pre-save link in my bio.
My first single “Lights Down Low” is deeply personal to me and was curated with lots of love and care along with my amazing friend and collaborator/producer @seanmbucheck at @stereogramsound All of my cover art was shot by another amazing friend of mine @jonahhalephoto
The song is about mourning the loss of time, a relationship, or a friendship and capturing a feeling of nostalgia. It was extremely cathartic to write during such a strange time in my life.
As I’m sure all of you can relate, the past couple of years truly displaced me. I was simply in survival mode for a long time. The main thing that kept me creatively fulfilled was writing and producing music. After my stuff was destroyed in an apartment fire, I ended up in Florida for the majority of 2021. I felt my identity start to fade away as I lost hope in the future. However, I discovered amazing artists in Saint Pete who helped me remember who I was and develop a side of me that I thought I would never get to explore. I seized an opportunity and produced music I always dreamed of producing but never had the resources for.
Swipe to hear a preview of “Lights Down Low.” Swipe again to hear a snippet of the original piano acoustic version of the song that inspired the final production.
I truly hope the song reaches you and is as warm and loving as it has been to me ❤️ #gaypop #queermusic #queerart #newmusic #singersongwriter
Today we close “Billy to His Friends” written by @scriptsbyrose and directed by @arcoopman . It has been an absolute honor to be a part of this show (“Walt”) that was written so beautifully by Cassandra. This play deals with a part of forgotten queer history that is so important and says so much about the struggle for dignity at that time. I’m so grateful to have gotten to work on a piece that honors that so well.
A big thank you to Andrew for trusting me with this, and a huge thank you to everyone in the cast and everyone who worked on this labor of love and made this experience so special

My Dad, Joel Mark Seleznow, passed about a month ago. Today is his birthday— he would have been 75 years old. My Dad was a loving, kind, sensitive soul who loved people, music, and G-d. He was an honest, hard-working man who was proud to be my father and would talk about me with anyone he met. I wish I could tell him again how proud I am to be his son. I miss him so much and I wish he was here to guide me through this confusing time, but I’m grateful that he’s not in pain anymore. Happy Birthday Dad. I love you so much ❤️
Happiest of Birthdays to this cutie ❤️ I can’t believe I get to be this man’s boyfriend ‘cause he’s the cutest, kindest, funniest, overall best guy I could have possibly met. Wow wow wow. 26 is looking good on you babe! Can’t wait to see you slay this year away. 🥹👨🏻🦰🥳🍾🎂
