Margaret Chideme is an author and businesswoman with a BSc Honors in Psychology and an EMBA. She served as the research lead for Zimbabwe on The Publishing Industry in Sub-Saharan Africa, a study commissioned by the British Council to explore and promote regional publishing trends. She also spoke about this research at the London Book Fair, sharing insights on the state of publishing in the region.
Margaret is the creator of Maggie’s Diary, a blog where she shares her thoughts and memories about her life. She is the author of First Thirty, a poignant collection of poems exploring themes of love and lust, pain and abuse, womanhood, divorce, searching, and rediscovery.
Additionally, Margaret founded The Lifeline Narrative, an organization dedicated to building bridges for African narratives to reach a global audience. The organization offers African authors and writers a pan African platform to publish, distribute and express their unique stories.

Having the opportunity to hear about their journeys and passion for their work was truly inspiring. With this being one of our cherished focal areas at Thando Channel; promoting the cultural diversity and talents within our country and communities, we look forward to curating such experiences and collaborations in future.
