We are excited to announce that through the Scripts and Bars music accelerator programme, Banshee will be performing at the ACCES Showcase Festival in Kigali, Rwanda, taking place from November 14th to 16th. @banshee_zw , an award-winning rapper, spoken word artist, and human rights advocate, will be a featured participant. Her powerful artistry is a catalyst for social change, addressing pressing issues such as children's rights, mental health, climate action, sexual reproductive health, and youth empowerment. Banshee has represented Zimbabwe at international events, including in France, South Africa, Malawi, and Mozambique, and has garnered numerous accolades. Her accomplishments include the English Spoken Word Artist of the Year award at the Poetry Red Carpet (2022), the House of Hunger Poetry Slam Championship title, and the prestigious role of UNICEF Youth Climate Change Ambassador. She has also been nominated three times at the Zim Hop Awards.
