Beatcity Japan 2026 Final was unreal 🇯🇵
Blue mountain beatbox placed top 4 in the Eliminations and battled against the absolute monsters that are UMA. We didn’t take the battle, but we’re leaving inspired as hell 🔥
One of our favourite moments was hearing the crowd recognize Fractals of Time and cheer for it before the drop even hit. The reactions, energy, and support we felt on stage meant so much to us.
Beyond the competition, getting to hang with so many of our favourite beatboxers and artists was something we’ll never forget. Huge learning experience! So much talent, creativity, humility, and love for the art form packed into one event.
And the Japanese beatbox scene is incredible! Thank you for welcoming us so warmly and for sharing the stage with us. Truly an honour to perform alongside so many legends.
We’re coming home motivated. It’s time to train harder, write more music, and come back better and stronger next time ❤️

We’ve been invited to compete at Beatcity Japan, and we’re beyond stoked for Blue Mountain Beatbox to represent Canada on the international stage.
Getting to Japan is an incredible opportunity, but it isn’t cheap. Flights, accommodation, and competition costs add up quickly, and we’re doing everything we can to make this trip possible!
This invitation comes after Future Monsters (Iran) unfortunately had to step down due to the situation in their country. We want to send them full respect and love - they absolutely earned their place.
We’ve previously competed at GBB 2021 (placing 11th in the world), and recently placed 2nd at Great North 2025. We’re really proud of how far we’ve come as a team, and this feels like a huge next step for us.

Made some new artwork!!! I've done so many custome cards for other people over the years, and this is the first time I've made one for myself!! I'm thinking of making this the artwork for one of my new songs, "My Own Way" (coming soon), and to do something similar with my other songs as I release them.
It's made entirely from scissors, glue, paper, some fabric, and wooden veneer for the guitar. Making these little scenes feels like a meditative practice to me, and brings me peace :)
Also... I'm thinking of leaving the face blank 🫥
Is that a good idea or should I try to add eyes and a nose?

Still buzzing from this one.
Only a few weeks ago I got to be part of Inferno, a hip hop opera adapted from Dante’s Inferno, except hell was a music-streaming headquarters and the devil was an AI slowly taking over music production.
We only had 4 days to workshop the script, 4 days to create the music, and then we performed.
Both nights sold out.
I got to beatbox, build soundscapes, and voice the AI itself - Trebi C (a treble clef with googly eyes 👀).
So grateful for the wildly talented humans I got to make this with. One of those projects that reminds you why you say yes to art.

This Halloween I performed music at my good friends' wedding! Everyone was in costume, and one of my jobs was to herald everyone at the door, announcing each guest's arrival with grand honorifics and accolades. It was easily the most whimsical and fun wedding I've ever been to, and I wish them an amazing life together <3

This show hits all the stops - opera, hip hop, beatboxing, looping, acting, live instrumentation, and the script is hilarious while also speaking to serious modern issues.
