Here at Screwdriver, we love to travel as much as possible, and we encourage our staff to do the same: live life, see the world, and have as many adventures as possible with as many new friends as possible.
Everyone is a tourist, and that’s why we get so much joy and honor from being a tourist destination. Whether it’s the historic grunge recording space history, the wall-to-wall rock ’n’ roll decor, the consistently excellent service, the home-like atmosphere, our wonderful friends and colleagues recommending us, or just being a basement hideaway to get away from it all, it seems everyone visiting Seattle makes a stop down to the rock ’n’ roll utopia.
We love the space we occupy in the tourist experience. It’s a privilege and a gift. We are proud of our city and our neighborhood of Belltown, and we are all about the experience of being alive with other people, sharing space and energy, and exchanging music, food, drinks, and things-to-do itineraries.
As a tourist destination, we cannot wait to share our unique spot with folks from all over the world for the World Cup, talking about other cultures, ideas, passions, thoughts, experiences, and, mostly, music.
In honor of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our city, we wanted to do a new merch drop to be involved and to give folks a takeaway, hopefully cherishing their Seattle experience. This is our third drop in our bootleg series, and it’s one that we are super proud of.
