This year the workshop will take place at an artistic retreat in the Dolomites, north of Venice, from August 4th to 14th. Pavia, Italy - Earlier this month I had the great pleasure of being a guest lecturer at the @screenmusicprogram , headed by @paolofossofilm . It was a whirlwind 24 hrs full of great food, fun conversations & the most amount of mosquitoes I’ve ever witnessed. A huge thank you to everyone involved, teachers & students alike. Screen Music Program 2025! I had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Screen Music Program in Pavia, Italy at the beginning of this month. It was an incredible opportunity to meet and learn from incredible film composers and even more incredibly wonderful people. We even got a chance to record a score with a beautiful string quartet! I was very fortunate to take part in the 2025 “Screen Music Program” at the Conservatorio di Musica Franco Vittadini in Pavia this August. I really had a wonderful time and learnt a lot, and it was really exciting to meet and work with so many great people and brilliant musicians (and also to be back home in Italy after 10 years)! As someone from a classical background, but who is also very passionate about film composition, I also feel privileged to have had the chance to attend lessons and masterclasses with many highly established professionals in the industry, such as Jeff Beal, Robbie Teehan, Ryan Shore, Alison Plante, Diego Pugliese, Luigi di Guida, Batu Sener, and Ian Hultquist, to learn more about this field! Still can’t believe I got the chance to spend the last two weeks in Italy for the @screenmusicprogram . This was genuinely the best experience of my life. I can’t think of a better way to end my summer or a better group of people to spend it with
