📺 NEW FROM BBC TWO!
Hidden Treasures of the National Trust is back for a fourth season, giving us another peek behind the velvet rope at some of the county’s most beautiful historic houses.
And first up is Agatha Christie’s beloved holiday home, Greenway.
Overlooking the River Dart near Brixham, beautiful Greenway and its gardens inspired more than one of the world’s most famous crime writer’s novels (the location has featured in one or two productions, too 🎬).
But behind the scenes a team of experts are battling to save Greenway’s priceless heritage.
Hidden Treasures of the National Trust is produced by @blast.films in partnership with the @theopenuniversity
Read the full story over on the Devon Film Office website.
Watch the first episode on Friday 15th May, 9pm, BBC Two.

We’ve a lot of Devon 💚…
…for this brilliant image shared by @freshairstudios and @voiceovers.co.uk .
The team have been celebrating the official opening of their new Plymouth production facility, with a ribbon-cutting by none other than Devon’s favourite comedy double act French & Saunders! 🥳
Designed to support audio, video, livestream and remote collaboration side by side, the new facility brings broadcast-ready capability to the South West - helping productions stay in the region while working with clients nationally and internationally.
As Richard Stevens, Deputy Lieutenant of Devon and Chair of Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce said, “this is a real cause for celebration for Devon’s creative economy”.
We agree and we also had a sneaky tour of the studios ourselves recently. 👌🏻
We love collaborating with Devon’s supplier network and can connect productions with talent via our crew & supplier databases.
Get in touch for a chat about your next production!
Ps. Thanks to @dawnrfrench and @ferrifrump for the joyous pic!

We love to hear from local emerging filmmakers 🎥
Anna Austin is an up-and-coming producer from North Devon and she’s currently in pre-production for her graduation short, “A Place Beyond”.
The film is described as a contained, character-driven short that blends psychological realism with lyrical fantasy, set in a corporate office and a visually expressive inner landscape.
Anna and the team at Goldsmiths, University of London are aiming to deliver the film in July, with eventual ambitions to submit to Two Short Nights Festival.
They’re currently looking for support so if you’d like to know more or get in touch, follow the link in the comments 💚🎬
